Soundtracks:
a new cycle of songs, music and poetry
to celebrate the redoubling of the Cotswold Railway Line.

In
the Spring of 2010, Voices Unlimited (Charlbury's community choir)
won a BBC Performing Arts Award to commission a new work to celebrate
the redoubling of the Cotswold Line. Since then, Kismet, together
with poet Joe Butler, has been immersed in the history, humour,
pathos and drama of the railways, and the Cotswold Line in particular.
Soundtracks
is a full-length cycle of songs for choir, instrumental music
and poetry, together with a song composed with Charlbury Primary
School Choir, and a guest appearance from Charlbury Morris Dancers.
It's the biggest composition project we've been involved in, and
we're rather excited!
